The second Festival weekend

Our programme builds to the second weekend and a very busy Saturday with activities from 9.00am to 8.00pm including  a demonstration of First Aid skills – Tai Chi for all – in the park at Digswell next to the STMA – the annual Art Exhibition at the Community Hall – a four Churches quiz and street food at Pamoli Square in the evening.  A great day to meet the people of Shefford if you are new to the town or just want to get out and about for the day.

Saturday 24th September

All day – Greenline Medical Services will demonstrate a variety of First Aid Skills at PI House, 23 Clifton Rd, Shefford SG17 5AF – with Tours of their Land Rover and Mercedes Ambulances, and First Aid Games. Free of charge. Contact Scarlett King, 07770 599918

Morning: Shefford Saints Football Club at the STMA. For details contact [email protected].
9.30 – 10.30am Tai Chi in the Park. Free session for all, especially beginners. At Digswell field adjacent to the STMA. Contact Ian Deavin email [email protected] 07860 218334.
10.00 Shefford Bowls Club adjacent to the STMA – come and discover bowls and watch the club finals with refreshments. Contact Janet Thomas Secretary Shefford Bowls Club on 07708640396 or email: [email protected].
10.00-5.00pm Shefford Art Exhibition at the Community Hall. Free entrance – tea, coffee and cakes available. Contact Kath Smith, 01462 812265, email: artsoc.org.uk.
10.30 – 3.00pm. Inclusive Café at St Michaels Church. All welcome for tea/coffee and biscuits/cake.
10.30 -2.30pm Church Trail visiting all four churches. Catholic, St Michael’s, Methodist and Baptist Churches and completing a quiz. Find out how each church is the same and how they are different. 12.00 – 8.00pm EAT Feast Street Food Fair in Pamoli Square. Choose your cuisine and meet your friends – a community alfresco street dining experience, with street food vendors offering a variety of food, music and a bar.
